Pardee Resources Company (PRC) [OTC: PDER] has named Thomas A. Lopus as Senior Vice President, Oil & Gas. Pardee Resources is a Philadelphia-based firm that focuses on the acquisition, management, and responsible development of natural resource properties.
“Tom’s addition to our senior management team will significantly enhance our capabilities in managing PRC’s oil and gas property holdings and in identifying new opportunities,” said Carleton P. Erdman, president and CEO of Pardee Resources Company. “Tom brings great depth of experience and insight into all phases of oil and gas asset exploration, development, and management.”
Mr. Lopus will have executive oversight and responsibility for all of PRC’s oil and gas operations, including asset evaluation and acquisition. Mr. Lopus has more than 30 years experience in oil and natural gas exploration, development, and production, especially in the Gulf states and the Appalachian region. PRC owns and leases properties for oil and gas development in Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, Kentucky, Indiana, Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Arkansas, Colorado, and New Mexico.
In addition to his technical experience, Mr. Lopus is an expert in business development, economic analysis, and technological innovation within the energy field. Mr. Lopus is a certified Professional Engineer, and holds a BS in Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering from Penn State University. He is a founding board member of the Marcellus Shale Coalition.
